Directly at the Johannes Kepler University of Linz one of the largest career fairs for students from the Upper Austrian region takes place. With more than 50 exhibitors from various sectors the career fair TEConOMY provides the right company for every student, whether technical or economic. In addition to the conventional exhibition services there are numerous program points on the day of the fair, aimed at contacting the companies: the "Speed Meeting" is a short speculative conversation with a company of your own choice. For the young entrepreneurs among the visitors the "Start-Up Corner" constitutes an opportunity to interact with successful young founders and employees from Upper Austria. The "TEC Talks" provide an opportunity for the company to introduce themselves to an audience of students in the context of a presentation and a short Q&A. Finally, the fair offers a “Job Wall” with job vacancies of the participating companies as well as the "TEC Snack", a buffet where the students can have a snack in between to be fit for a long day. The career fair is directed towards all students of the Johannes Kepler University of Linz as well as Upper Austria’s technical colleges.
