The national flag of belize was adopted on september 21, 1981. The national flag is rectangular and the ratio of length to width is about 3:2. The main body of the flag is blue, the top and bottom have a red wide edge, the center of the white round ground, which is painted with 50 green leaves around the national emblem. blue stands for blue sky and sea, red for victory and sunshine; The ring of 50 green leaves commemorates the country's struggle for independence, which began in 1950 and ended in victory.
